Hes fine

Hes fine, he had his posting privlages turned off, due to the conflict with Evan, I missed the posts because I was at work, so I am not sure what all they said.

He commented to me he wanted to take a break from things anyhow, but I am sure you can find him on the NW Bombers site.

Nope, he's not there either. I'm trying to stay neutral in this, because Evan and Rob are both friends of mine. A lot of us NW BOMBers are rather upset that things went to such an extreme, and we wish they could have worked things out. :(

Andy

BTW, the website Kat is referring to is http://www.nwbombers.com

All I can say is that I miss Rob.

With his affinity for BOMBing, exceptional hospitality, and down-to-earth attitude regarding everyday issues... . I regarded him 'Mr. TDR' of the Northwest, and many others did as well.

HI,

Robs hospitality is second to know one. He has this BOMBed:D . I would like to see him back ASAP. By the way Rob, injectors are shipping tuesday... Cant wait for the next BOMB party :) . Sam

You guys in the North West are lucky, because it sounds like Rob is still happy to be involved with your get-togethers, and from what I've heard he's still helping guys with their trucks at his home. It's the rest of us who will be missing out on Rob's knowledge and experience.

I never understood that deal with Rob and Evan. That's to bad that it went to far. Did Evan lose posting privileges as well? Come on guys, get this worked out. The more knowledge that's here, the better.

I seen the post that Kat was talking about, at least I think. If it was a poll then I seen it. It got deleted real quick. It's wierd how you can miss people when you haven't ever met them isn't it? I hope they can work out their differences. John is right, the more knowledge here the better.

Corey

Robs generousity didnt just stay in the NW. . Most dont know that I flew in from NJ to Seattle last year for BD dyno dayz. Rob put me up in in his house for 2 nights and drove me to and from the event. Rob is a great guy and too me one of the top TDR (ex)members. Rob didnt hold any punches back and told it the way it was... . JB

I agree with you all. Rob is my brother in law and he is truly a good person and does tell it like it is. I know he will be missed on this site but you can always contact him personally and he will be the same Rob. :D

If you ever need a message to get to him just let me know and I will relay it.

two thumbs up buddy!

As hard as it is for all of you who miss Rob posting here on the TDR, picture this... as I consider Rob to be my best friend with Evan also being a friend of mine, you can see how I have been in the middle of this :(... and believe you me, I'm no negotiator (although I have tried). Words like diplomacy and moderator are not generally used to describe me. To say I have lost sleep about the fractured friendship of two of my friends is the understatement of the year (to me).

Rob finally decided enough was enough with Evan, bringing his concerns to the TDR who in turn decided the best thing to do for all parties involved was to offer Rob a refund or let him live with the situation as is. Rob decided to take the former.

Although there are many underlying circumstances and details to this feud not contained within the TDR BB, suffice it to say, there are some very "permanent" hard feelings between the two. :(

I would also like to say, as many of you NW BOMBers already know, you couldn't ask for a better friend than Rob Hanson! He is ALWAYS willing to help a friend or practically anyone else that asks him... heck, he'll even offer his help before you ask for it... he's that kind of guy. Just an example; I mentioned to Rob that I really needed to purchase a tractor for my small farm as I was getting tired of using a shovel, wheelbarrow or my Polaris 6x6 in a half as*ed attempt at trying to accomplish things I could do much more efficiently with a tractor. The next day (without so much as a warning) here comes Rob down my driveway with his Ram towing his flat bed trailer with his tractor loaded. Not only did he help me move and spread out 12 yards of 1-2" gravel, he left his tractor at my place so I could use it... for the next two months!!!!

Friends... they just don't get any better than Rob! :)

I know I shouldn't speak for anyone else however, Sam, I think Rob would be more than happy to help you change out your injectors... you know Rob, he lives for injector installations. :D

..... besides, he still has several of my Snap-On wrenches (used for injector installations) at his house, so he's armed and ready. :D

Thanks Jon,

I received an e-mail from him today. He offered to help and I know he loves injector installs :D . I will have to stand back and watch him enjoy another install. Then maybe I can help the next guy. Sam

John, thanks for the post. Obviously, the consternation of the TDR members regarding this is overwhelming. Both Evan and Rob were prolific posters and added zing to the various threads.

If they can't bury the hatchet (I hope they can) perhaps they could both participate on TDR and simply... ... ... ignore each others threads. A lot of discussion can take place without crossing paths.

For example, I don't like Mike Tyson. If he knew what I had to say about him, he wouldn't like me either. And, lucky for him, we don't cross paths. :D

C'mon back fellas, your'e missed out here in cyber country !!!!

Papa Joe

Rob has helped me out several times, and like alot of other people I also miss him on the board. Thanks again Rob for all your help , hope to see ya back on TDR in the near future.
