I have done quite a bit of research on clutches lately and have a few questions. First off south bend makes single disk clutches that will hold 1000 ft lbs, or somthing like that. But they make duel disk clutches starting at less rating than that. What clutch should I go with. I would like to save the money and go with the FE but I really beat the **** out of my truck very often. I don't want to be doing this agian in a year. I don't plan on stopping with uping the power for a long time. I want to be up to 500 rwhp as soon as possible ( 1st gen VE pump, no laughing)
I want the truck to remain streetable but I dragrace, dyno, off road and would probly not turn down a chance to hook to a sled once or twice. I guess the question is will a single hold or should I bite the bullit and go for a double. If so witch ones from where. Any info would be greatly apreciated.
