Which Wire?

I know about fatique. My partner at work handled a semi with a Benson All aluminum flat bed traielr with a 45000 lb steel coil on it. It snapped the frame in the middle pulling in a drive..... My Featherlite does have a steel hitch and axle cradle in it for strength in those area's. yes, there is more aluminum so weight savings is not that much. I bought because of the fact I am using primarily in the winter for snowmobile racing and I see all the stel frame aluminum skin trailers needing new skins in about 5 years, plus the Featehrlite reputation. If I just used in summer with no salt maight have saved about $7000. 00 and went steel. BUT resale is also there better with aluminum too...

I have been shopping for an enclosed trailer lately myself. If I had the coin to drop on one of these I would definitely do it. They look to be one of the best built aluminum trailers I have seen. I do not know if they make a car hauler.

Beast2B- I went back to leafs instead of torsions after breaking two of them. I use the enclosed trailer for hauling heavy machinery and tools to consruction sites where the roads are very irregular. The leafs just seem to have more travel and to take more abuse IMHO. Torsions may indeed pull better on highways but its harder to replace a torsion axle than to replace a leaf or coupler. Most of my buds agree with me.
