Well guys, I was looking forward to hearing some input from someone whos used the Glacier and the FASS. i have tried about ever pump on the market besides the FASS. I've had Holley Red, Blue, Black, HP series, just about all the carters, Aeromotive, Mallory, RASP belt drives, etc. The holleys work ok for a while. I have replaced everyone I have installed. The carters are ok as well. They don't last very long typically. The Aeromotive "Hot Rod" pumps work good, hold pressure and last a long time, but they have a shaft seal problem where the seal leaks during cold weather. I have installed one Glacier system and several Walbros before glacier released their kit. I think the walbro is the best thing yet. Can't say how long they'll last as we haven't had any customers with them for a very long time. If you want a simple install with everything included to do the job, go with the Glacier kit. If you wanna do it cheap, just buy a walbro and put the system together yourself. Theres not a whole lot to it. If your looking for a pump on a 2nd gen truck, and have some extra money, the RASP belt drive is definately far superior to anything I've seen or used. We've had one installed for 4 years with no problems at all. Its a failry complex system, but it works.
