Which tire is best in winter conditions

Well i'am sure that this has been talked about before but I got to ask it anyway. This will be my first winter with my 3500 dually. I will be driving in NE Washington mostly. I would like to know which brand and type of tire you guy's recommend. Thanks in advance.

I hear BFG A/Ts do pretty good in the snow. I put a set on about 8k ago so I shall see. I'm anticipating better traction than I had last winter, I went over Snoqualmie 2 times and up in the mountains 4 times with my well-worn stock tires. In my 2wd. Did OK but better traction would be nice

Any tire will do much better on snow and ice if it's siped, costs about $7 per tire and can be done to new or used tires. Les Swuab does it in WA. Read about siping here Narrow tires are better than wide ones for the snow.

I do not have a dually, but I did love the bfg at on a 2wd I had. Almost no noise at all.
