Two Century caps with over 10 years in MI salt and sun.
I have had good luck with the Century brand. I find that the flip up side windows makes the cap much easier to live with. I have an aux fuel tank in my dodge and this feature allows fueling without crawling in the bed. I also made a shelve out of plywood that sits on the top of the bed side rails. I now have a handy place to slide my suitcase or other travel items that I need to have quick access to and do not want in the cab.
The model I have bought also has a wood insert molded into the top to give you a place to mount a set of Yakama or other brand roof rack system. This can be handy for hauling your canoe, xmas tree, ladder, etc. This can also be a mounting location for your air horns, off road lights, or antennas.
I have found that the color match is on the money when new and will look the same as your truck paint after 10 years of sitting outside.
I did have to replace two of the locking side latches after about 5 years on my chevy pu. The tumblers in the locks rusted up due to me not using them. I now try to lock/unlock each of the six locks on a weekly basis and have had no trouble. A squirt of dry slide once a month does't hurt.
No matter what brand you pick I would suggest you hold out for side windows that open by being hinged on the top and swings out to open. If not, you will think of this comment everytime you crawl into the box chasing something that rolled to the front of the box.
