As you can tell by my profile, I've done some work to my rig. The next step is probably going to have to be a bigger turbo. My EGT's are thru the roof. With the box on the highest setting, I can peg the gauge at 1600 deg. and keep it there until I let off.
This didn't used to be too much of a problem until I put the lift and tires on (combined with the 3. 54's, and 1500# of tools in the bed), which sapped just enough power to really get the #'s up when going up a grade. Even with the box off, I can see #'s around 1100 - 1200, just to keep my speed up. I have to letoff to keep it under 1100 deg.
So, what turbo should I go with? (please give me $ amounts also). What's it cost to run duals?
And, would propane be a good next step in power?
