Off Roading Milemarker 12K electric

I am wanting to clear 39. 5's on my truck, I was wondering about the whiplash kit. Most shops in the local area say that they are crap, but they are not authorized dealers. My Idea for my lift is to use all of the components of the whiplash, but sub out the coils and spacers for a pair of coil-overs using the skyjacker coil-over brackets.

Keep in mind that its not used for heavy Wheeling(the misses thinks that a maintained service road is scary:rolleyes:  ) and plus thats what the TJ is for. It just is to look good and and pull a 26 tailer to Dumont(sand dunes)

I already had a leaf spring conversion done to my 99 before I sold it, and it drove terrible. So I don't want to go that option again.

Thanks

Your tires will need ot be load rated for the trailer.

I did see some good looking 38x16. 5x18 tires on a Ford Sunday. They looked great! I think having less sidewall would make them more stable.

Might want to look into Dick Cepeck's stuff. I am about to get a long arm kit for my 4x4. I'm tired of the Class 2 arms in the front from SkyJacker. They are way to short for a good ride.

Check out this site they have several CTD's clearing 38's & 39's. In fact one of the lead moderator's goes by Motorhead over there, but I can't think of his name over here. He has a QC SWB 2500 on 39. 5's with stacks!:D

But you can get an idea over there on how to clear the size tires that you want. Oh yeah and it free to join.

Mark, that's RO'neal. He's running 38" Swamper SSR's with 8" of lift. Nice looking truck. There's pictures in the Reader's Rig section.
