white smoke out of vent tube

how many of you 3rd gen guys see a white haze come out of your blow by tube, or when the truck is running, you pull the dip stick tube. any one see this. normal? thanks

Any hot eng is going to have a light mist or fog coming out of the crank case. It's just the product of very hot oil. Dont worry about it.

I'm curious, are you a recovering ferd owner or do you just worry too much?

My suggestion is to stop looking for something wrong and go drive your truck

Want to see some real blowby haze on cold mornings? Come drive my '99. With an EZ,mach 1. 6's,it's got a healthy haze and nice oil smell while idling at intersections. My neighbor,a fellow '99 owner can't believe the relative absence of odor or smoke on my '07. Even with the blowby haze,my '99 never uses a drop of oil.

You can stop the blow by haze. I plugged the blowby relief hose and haven't had a problem since.
