Happy Birthday Nascar and Red Rattler!

Gps?

As you all have seen by looking at the boards I went on a posting/reply freenzy yesterday and last night to say the least... ... ... I am leading at 56 I think, this was not my goal it just happened that way, kinda. here's the deal.

I am a plant operator in a sour gas plant that has a gas that is said to be the most challenging gas in the world to process , My job has huge demands and requires high alert levels as well as a serious understanding of whats going on around you at all times, it is imparitive that I know and understand the process and its potential hazards . Well 15 months ago I was assigned to a new temporay job as a construction Inspector for a 278 million dollar expansion of the plant that has another 90 Million dollar gas well support system to feed it. Needless to say the company had faith in me or they would'nt have give me the assignment, the stress level and daily requirments for me have been huge and the stress level has been thick enough to cut with a knife. The project is complete and we should be bringing in sour gas feed within the next 2 to 3 weeks , that has been a major accomplishment for the whole team to get us this far. We were at a point where the company gave me 3 days off to rest and it has been a total relaxation on my part to receive the time off and yesterday I did nothing but sit here on this puter and do what I wanted to do and that is to be with my buds and have a ball. That I did do , it was a great day for me and I want to thank all of you for letting me cut loose. No I am not flippin out nor do I do drugs , I was simply gettin it on, I do know that my personality is a littke kinked or frayed to say the least but thats me . The TDR is my reserve and my salvation and I am thankful to be part of an elete group that has a wonderful thing in common and that is a beautiful Love for the all mighty Cummins and its ultimate performance... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Cheers fellas :) :) :) Kevvin

Kevin,

I know the feeling of a job well done and the huge stress relieve that goes with it. And, if no one says so at work (they seldom do), GOOd JOB! WELL DONE!!

Now, get some sleep!!!

Don't forget .

Don't forget to do a good Management Of Change before start up. Put your fingers in your ears just before. It always gives the big guys a sense of well being... ... . I have done this on several projects and some of them have NO sense of humor!

lots of that

May your engineers spec. 316L and 17-4PH the rest of your days.

We mostly use inconell and hastaloy... ... . exotic metals very very spendy.

Thanks for the support guys , its nice to be appreciated :)

Boy are you guys asking for it - challenging Doc to come up with a better excuse for his posts than working for a Sour Gas Plant.
