Peter:
I have sent you two emails about the issue and not received a single reply from you about it. This is not the first time I have sent you emails about this issue and not received replies.
I was not told about you going to a show, only that you had left for the day. At that point, I was already frustrated, since I had emailed you the day before asking what to do about the labor and gotten no response. I said, "fine" and hung up.
So, imagine how it looks to me when suddenly I'm getting no response when it comes time to deal with the labor bill. I have the shop telling me that it is a product defect, which I am more and more inclined to believe. Right now I'm out $2250 for this clutch, and I'm a bit miffed over the idea of having to stomach two complete labor fees.
There have been far too many times that I have dealt with people and companies and been told one thing, while the exact opposite was done, or that nobody else knew what was going on.
Tell me, what happens when I send this clutch back to you and you decide that it's the shop's fault? Then I AM out another $650 AND I have no evidence to the contrary. I'm afraid my days of taking somebody at their word are long gone. I've been screwed too many times.
Yes, some people have said that it looked like an installation problem. BUT, every one of them were assuming that the clutch was in fact good to begin with. There is also a good chance that it wasn't. At this point, I would consider it to be up to you to handle the labor, make the determination, and then go after the shop if you felt they were the cause of the problem. I would have been willing to assist in any way.
I made this post to AVOID pointing any fingers and to AVOID making anybody look bad. I chose my words very carefully. I was trying to collecting information in the event things got nasty. Well guess what? You've just chosen to make it nasty.
I was attepting to wait until this was resolved, and I was prepared to make a post praising you and your product. Now what am I to do? Instead, you attack me online in an attempt to smear me. You could have even contacted me privately first. But you didn't. You have yet to contact me privately about this issue, after I've sent you two emails about it. Thank you for your consideration.
