See below. I wanted my wheels to be clear coated so I didn't have to polish them and they are a lot easier to clean.

Mine are 16. 5x12 Eagle alloy 589's. They shine awesome and I like the center caps. Only problem is seems like everybody has 'em. I don't know how to send pictures so sorry about that.

Watch the "backset"

Be careful if your looking at non OEM wheels. Most of them have a deeper "backset" then the stock ones. What that means is they will stick our past your stock fenders and throw all sorts of cra% all over the truck. This can be cured by putting on fender flares, but it aint cheap, and if you have mud flaps/running boards already installed, getting fender flares to fit may be a problem...

I have the Mickey Thompson/Alcoa (M/T Alcoa) forged aluminum Challenger wheels on my Ram (five slots). Earthroamer has M/T Alcoa forged aluminum Classic wheels (eight holes) on his Ram. Both are VERY strong with an impeccable record. Although these wheels do not have a clear coat protective finish, it is not all that hard to preserve the bright mirrored finish. Additionally, these wheels have aluminum center caps which will not rust like the chrome plated steel ones.

Another excellent choice in wheels are the Weld Racing wheels. These are very strong wheels offered in a multitude of styles, offering something that should appeal to everyone (SSII, Outback, Typhoon, Roadhawk, and my favorite, the Scorpio V, plus they also added a new style which I can't remember off the top of my head).

Although the chrome plated aluminum wheels look great when you purchase them (and are pretty easy in the maintenance department), errant rocks can chip the harder chrome, leading to pealing.

..... even though I love chrome, I prefer to keep mine in the engine compartment out of harms way. :D

I went with the Alcoa/MT Challengers also this summer. A good looking wheel for about $160. These are mounted on BFG A/T KO 265's.

I also went with the Challengers, as everybody seems to have copies of the Classics.

While Weld does have some one piece forged units of the same T-whatever aluminum like the Alcoas, they are REAL pricy. And I've read quite a few threads on the two piece units that started sounding like rice-crispies after one a couple of weeks under the weight of our engines!

YMMV

My brother had WELD Drag-Lites on his Mustang that would snap crackle and pop.

My Typhoons have had no popping at all.
