Left about 7:30 last night. Drove about 200 miles and then camped out in the parking lot of my Westbrook store.
Left Westbrook about 8:00 am and worked our way across. Stopped for fuel three times and once to eat a sandwich. Had several stretch breaks as well, I’m pleased with our progress.
Leaves about 400 miles to go tomorrow..

Fuel mileage on the first leg in Maine was a straight up 10 mpg...running 68 to 72 mph.
Today ran a very constant 65 mph which gave a solid 10.5 mpg according to the last two fill ups.

Left yesterday, stayed on south fork lake outside Elko last night. Staying east of Rock Springs tonight. About 1000 miles down, 1,300 to go. Plan to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Been running 70 most of the way, 65 in California. Been cool and windy most of the time. It was 32 this morning.

It was a beautiful day traveling yesterday. Mid 70’s to a high of 80. We have been extremely sun deprived as the month of May in Maine was terrible. Keep thinking of what we should be doing at home instead BUT we are getting over that quickly..:D

Only brought the EUI Honda for hair dryer and coffee maker duty so was a little concerned about cooling the RV down at night where we are Walmart dry camping a night or two but it was nice and cool last night. Tonight will be at a campground just West Of Sterling Heights Michigan.

Going to get pretty, go into Wally Mart for a few supplies and hit the road.
Should have filled the water tank instead of putting in what I thought would be enough for two days of travel....will be a very quick rinse for each of us this morning..:D:D:D

So much for trying to keep the weight down.....

I thought that I was coming a fair distance but it’s just a warmup compared to driving from the West Coast...!!

Live on a lake so naturally I parked by the water...drainage pond...see how wonderfully it reflects the sign...:):D

What is the difference between May Madness and the TDR rally?

May madness is a member planned event.

The National Rally is held by Cummins, Ram, and TDR National every few (2-8) years. This is a much more elaborate planned event as it includes tours of the Midrange engine factory, CERAland RV Park, ram brings trucks out to test drive, etc.

Safe travels Mike!

Hey guy's I am still home! We will be leaving Tuesday morning 8:00 AM central time. We will be getting in around 2:00 PM eastern time. Travel safe and see you all there.

Hey Mike what's that all over the front of your trailer?

Set up at Campground, long day again..

Up a frigin dirt road just about 10 miles above Auburn Hills. You would not know Detroit is so close...

Those are my little friends from Maine, they wanted to come too!!!
You have a much larger collection than me. Drove 500 miles from Nicks in Snowflake to the Summit of Raton pass in new Mexico. Campground gave us a BIG discount when she saw the USAA card. Very nice people and facility. Gonna leave here at 2:00am, have 190 miles to Denver and I would like to get past there with a minimal hassle and the pot using citizens. Destination is Cheyenne Wyoming.

I might make it in on Tuesday. In Kearney NE tonight. I was just east of Rock Springs Wyoming last night. I don't know how cold it got but the furnace ran about three times an hour all night long. Woke up to the CO2 detector going off. Forgot to open a window. the Rest of the Story could have been the end of the story!
