Howard Stern this morning made a great point, why is the government spending all this money sending EVERYONE a letter saying we are getting a check, WHY NOT SEND THE CHECK IN THE LETTER?. Everybody has heard about it, its all over the news, i dont need to know i will be getting a check the second week in august, just give it to me. Think of all those letters they had to print, all that paper, plus the postage, it probably cost almost as much as the refunds they are giving back.

Fred, JffGrdn & EMD - I was wondering the same thing about those rebates. My check won't be here until September, I wonder if I'll get a second notice, when it gets closer to the time, so they're sure I'll be home that day to get it.



klenger - It's sad to see a guy spend so much time putting together a list like that, knowing full well that there will not be a debate on any of those issues in this thread. Are you running for a political office? Oh - And I've been meaning to ask you: Are you wearing a dress?



hdm48 - How many of us drive real trucks, if we have to wait until they're paid for before they become real trucks? That could be our next poll though... "Is Your Truck Paid For? Yes / No"

Now, Bill... You made a basic error in your logic...



There's no point in argueing with a Canuck... I mean, it's like having a fight with an unarmed man. Its just that people who WILLINGLY let the government run almost everything, give up thier rights to guns, and pay taxes so outrageous it's insane cannot possibly have full control of thier faculties.



At least we down here skirt the issue and argue about the role of lawyers and insurance companies in health care. You guys just gave up and gave it to the policians????? Give me a break, at least lawyers and insurance companies can be beaten and gotten around... Government control is forever!
