WOW ... this is old ... . three years gone by ... . now I'm retired US Coast Guard ... Master Chief Machinery Technician ... 28 and a half years ... . time flies when you're having fun!!!

US Navy 1986-1992, Gas Turbine Technician Electrical First Class, served aboard the USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG-58) and the USS Clifton Sprague (FFG-16).

2000-Present. Active Duty USAF Logistics Officer.

I enlisted in the USAF in 1994. After almost 2 years as a Fuel System Technician on B1-B Bomber and C-130H transports, I was accepted for admission to the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs.

I reported to the Academy in June of 1996 and graduated about in the middle of my class on 31 May 2000.

Upon graduation, I was assigned to Robins AFB GA, and recently PCSed to Cheyenne, where I LOVE it. F. E. Warren AFB is home of the single most powerful combat weapon in the world (PeaceKeeper ICBM-- 10 nuke wareheads a piece!)

The AF has been good to me, and I LOVE serving my country, even when that means I am sent to some hole of a country in the big Asian sandbox.

Your Capt-select,

LT Hohn

USAF May 1984 to present. Currently at Osan AB, Republic of Korea. I'm a SODO, Senior Operations Duty Officer. When I leave in February, I go back to Offutt AFB, Omaha, NE. There I will once again do what I love, fly the E-4B. The E-4B is a Boeing 747-200 used as the National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC).

USN Gas Turbine Technician Electrical First Class Surface Warfare. SHELLBACK. 1987-1995 when B. C. decided the military was a bad thing. USS KIDD DDG-993, ACU-5 "Swift Intruders" Hovercraft. Craft Engineer, Maintenance Chief. Loved it, would still be there if I could, Thanks Mr. Clinton. John

Pete Peterson, were you on the KIDD?

navy

navy 5 yrs was a corpsman for the marines most of my time. was a cherry point,n. c. and in Naples, Italy. last place and the place that did me in was Bethesda naval hospital. 1992-1997

Joined in November 91. Went straight to Basic, AIT, then OCS, and still serving.

Ordnance Officer from 93 to present. Was working on a branch transfer when I got deployed. In Kuwait I served as Commander of a personnel detachment. Nobody cared that I wasnt branch qualified. In our AG Personnel Battalion, we had a Quartermaster Operations Officer, an Infantry XO, and the other detachment Co was Infantry branch. The only one branch qualified was the Bn Cdr. My Ordnance background helped when I had to fix my Humvee when it was stranded on the side of the road in Kuwait.
