I've heard of all the high mileage trucks out here... who's got on that sits in the garage and only drives to church on Sunday? :D I still think the 12 valve is the best motor EVER put in a pickup truck... I think low mileage trucks like ours will suprise people if / when they ever come up for sale on Ebay! :-laf

88k on mine but I've only owned it for about 6 months, that will change when mowing season gets here and it runs 7 day's a week pullind the trailer.

IGOT 40,000 ON MY 95 Scotty Motor Home and Its a Dodge

on a one ton chassie that has been extended so It s a 25 and half footer. I got It last year with 30,000 miles on It. I drove It out west to Texas ,Colorado, Wyoming, and Iowa and Now It has 40,000 miles on It. I live It. I would not trade It for a new one even up. That how much I like It. :D

I have seen???

I have a good friend of mine he has a 1997 4x4 reg cab that has around 15,000 miles. He said he has turned down some good $ offers on it too. Justin

A guy with an old wore out first gen a town away from me boaght a 98 12v dually 4x4 5 spd that has 4,800 miles. He wanted $24,500 firm, but the guy bought it for $22,500. It was advertised in AG source here in the Central Valley.

Not a 12 valver, but my second genner(01) has 26000kms(16250miles)on her, just a weekend ride towing the tt and cruising on nice days. Still in the process of building the way i want it,Mach 4/Smarty are on the way, next is Kore Recon or Chase with control arms. Down the road/funds etc maybe a Piers ported head/cam until i think of something else.

I bought my 96' 12v in 03' with 17k original miles on it, but now it has 95k miles on it. An Old man owned it before I bought it and i think he drove it about once a month. It took a couple of weeks to run the cob webs out of it ;)

Well i don't know if mine will count but i purchased my 92 on 11-28-05 the odometer is showing at this time 54800, i was told they estimated it had at least another 46000 on it, the VSS was bad and hadn't been replaced, so mine roughly has 101,000 miles on it now, i have put just a hair under 5000 miles since Nov... ... ... and wouldn't trade it for a new one even if i came out money ahead. Oo.

I have a 98 12 Valve, SLT, long bed, with 76321 miles on it, I bought the Truck brand new, runs and look great, Love the

Not an answer to the specific question, but I think it's interesting. .

About a year ago we sold off the farm a 1987 1t GMC with a Knaphide dump bed. It was always in the qounset so was perfect.

BTW,, it had 684 miles,, no kidding!!!

my 97 12v dually has 47,000. only driven on longer trips. not to work or to the store. never driven in the snow. never in the rain intentionally. driven on a gravel rd only 2 times real slowly by me. no gravel rd's by p. o. the orig owner babied this rig as i do too. he pulled a small low pro 26 foot 5'er. he'd go to may madness once a yr. has 4 thropys it won in show&shines. he'd pull the 5'er to his mnt lot a hundred mile away then leave it for summer then drive empty in the dually to the lot on weekends.

i use the truck to pull a small 19 foot 5'er or my 33 foot 5'er. i dont drive on bad rd's or in snow or cold with it. i do frive it every couple weeks to lubricate it and excercise it IF the roads are good in the winter. i never drive in the city with it. just the open road.

ive turned down some good offers for it. gonna keep it forever and let the kids inherit it :D i drive my 92 w/ 600,000 miles as the daily driver Oo.

Just getting "broke in"!

It took me a year of searching cross country to find my 93 4X4 extra cab. I bought it from an old guy in Preston, Idaho who told me he was the only person ever to drive her. I got her in September with 134,000. She has 146,000 and I swear she runs better every day!
