Why is my last name visable under my profile name after change, how to remove?

Yep, you were in on that discussion with Robert also. Larry and I are "old timers" on this forum. Our actual join dates were long before the 1999 dates shown on our posts. Our actual join dates were lost when the forum "crashed" in 1999. When it was restored, our original join dates no longer appeared and only show the date when we logged back in after the site was restored.

It appears last names are showing up when pictures from the gallery are viewed. Can that be fixed?

Can you give me an example page?

Go to the photo gallery and click on any picture. On the lower left of the photo viewing pane it lists the user name, last name, registered date, location and number of posts. It appears to do it for everyone. Was the same logged in as logged out (which means even non members can see it).
