Wicked Wheel 2 info?

I'm considering installing a "wicked wheel 2" on the truck in my signature. They seem to be extremely popular with the powerstroke crowd, but you don't hear much on the TDR about them. I'm thinking that it's inexpensive enough to try out and might just make a little difference.

Read a few stories on other forums about them disintegrating...the general concensus is that they are NOT worth the money or the risk...besides the limiting factor on the stock turbos is NOT the compressor wheel size, but rather the exhaust housing size.

Ive installed the wicked wheel 2 after much thought and once my exhaust manifold started leaking badly, well the manifold was warpped and I was there so I replaced the manifold and did the wheel...It was worth the 240$ for the wheel but with the manifold done too @ 500$ a BD manifold...my truck has a nice surge/pull around 1800 to 2300 rpm with a slight turbo whine/whisle...now Ive towed my 14,500# 5er on 3 vacations so far and been really pleased, plus my EGT's has dropped about 150*....So if your short on some cash and cant do a turbo yet the wheel is a nice up grade...But its not going to make your truck a rocket only a little extra pull in the seat O pants meter....Now saving for that turbo, I want more now.....

I'm glad to get some first hand feedback. I can get the wheel at a deal and I sort of had the "what can it hurt" feeling. They claim that the all billet wheel is lighter than stock so everything else being equal, it out to help at least a little.
