Will boost go up with B-1?

Just curious if I will see a rise in boost #'s going from my hy-35 to the B-1? I have already ordered so I will have to make it work, just curious. I am hitting 40+ already at 5X5 and am not sure what is safe for the stock head gasket? The truck has 5500miles so far. Aloha

You REALLY need some more fuel to run a B-1 I think. Just my feelings, but I've been wrong beofre. I am taking that you only have an Edge Comp, am I right?

you can spool a b1 with 275s. . DD3 do it better



w/dd3's and a PE Comp I hit 44-46 psi. With just DD3s and box off I see 36-38psi.



Boost may go down but power will go up. . the boost you get will be cooler and make better power w/lower EGTs

I agree with Mark, get yourselfs some 275's, and that will help, A LOT I think.

I am running PE Comp w/DD2's banjo'd w/pusher pump. Any thoughts on max psi for stock head gasket?

Stock head gaskets are pretty tough... you should be able to get to 70psi but it could blow at 35.



I'd bet on 65+ being safe.



Detonation is what kills on high hp rigs.
