im thinking not but i want to know if the carrier(sp?) from a 3. 54 dana 80 will fit in a 4. 10 dana 80? i have the chance to get a limited slip that had 3. 54's problem is my buddy and i want to put it in a 4. 10 geared truck. my thought is that the ring gear still bolts on the carrier the same the gear is just a different outside diamiter. i do see the thought not working but am not sure. so what do ya'll think.

IIRC, the carriers are different between the 3. 54 and 4. 10 gears.

i've seen a couple things about that when i was looking into getting a lower ring and pinion for mine, i think the 4. 10 ring is thicker, theres some places that have the lower gears that fit on the 4. 10 carrier

this is kind of what i figured. any other ways to get ls for cheap
