25,400 GCVWR; Tu-tone paint; 19.5 tires?

My truck is old already.

Another thing to keep in mind is that come 2010, Dodge will have the only proven 3500-5500 series truck. Both Ford and GM will be facing the 2010 emission standards with brand new engine designs. Which would you gamble on, the new Duramax, the Scorpion, of the three year old 6. 7?

An excellent point to remember.

And if that isn''t already a large enough challenge, adding in the weakened condition of Government Motors and Ford that they will face in bringing new engines and/or new emissions standards to market, it might be a bad time for new GM/Ferd owners. I wouldn't touch one.

... and Furd will never use the Cummins in their light duty super duty because the engine bay is too small. They have a difficult time getting the V8 powerjoke as it is now. I don't believe furd is willing to re-tool to fit a longer engine.

Grizzly,

You're right, the CTD is longer than the PSD, but it does fit in the light-duty Super Duty trucks. Auto World does the conversions all the time with no problems.

Just talked to my friend who is the director of operations of a big dealership in nj. he said they will come out with the HD and his dealership will be fine. its the small mom and pop dealers with one brand of cars that will go away. we will see:confused:
