Windshield washer fluid light on in cold temps

Was wondering if anyone else experiences the windshield washer light illuminated in cold (below about 25F) conditions. I have checked the fluid level manually and it was about 2/3rds full, topped it off, but the light still remains on. The system seems to work as it should. I am using the RainX orange washer fluid. I think it is good to about -25F so it should not be slushing up. Once the ambient temp warms above 25F the light goes out. any thoughts?

Rain X fluid will contaminate the sensor, causing it to give a false reading. Empty the rain x out and replace with standard washer fluid.

I use turbo wash -40. It doesn't affect the sensor and it darn sure doesn't freeze!

Not sure if it's related or not but I've experienced three different third gens that had sensor failure in the washer tanks.

IMHO that is the worse fluid ever. I prefer 20/10.

Just my personal experience, but I have used the Rain-X orange fluid ever since it first came out and have never had any issues. I started using it because during the spring and fall we will have clear windshields when leaving the driveway at the lake until we pop over the hill, then the windshield will frost over. The Rain-X will take it right off.
Never had a sensor or pump issue using it.

I do top off all of my the vehicles frequently, maybe it forms goo if the level gets real low or in warmer climates???

I too have always used the rainX orange stuff for years with no problems. For troubleshooting I think I will empty it out and put in the old fashioned blue stuff and see if it eliminates the light.

Had my sensor replaced last night. They claim that the Rain X contaminants it. Mine had the orange stuff in it.
Anytime below 20 deg. the light came on.
