The closest I found to a "real" truck tire (10 ply) was the Cooper Discoverer M+S
Siped into infinity, very flexible and sticky compound, DEEP tread.
Don't use these things in the summer.
They meet all the wishes I had in a snow... durable, weight carrying, and real traction. I drove on snow and ice and found that the torque could still make driving a headache, but the tires had several times the "stick" ability in snow.
You drag racers would love them, too. VERY good traction on pavement. With thier soft compound, you merely need scrub them a little to clean the dirt off, and away you go.
