Greetings all,
Hey I am having problems with the wiper arm busings, those white plastic pieces..it seem like once a year they break, so I am asking for any ideas on how to fix this problem. Are there some good ones out there instead of the cheap ones at Autozone or your fav part store. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
BH

The OEM parts are still available . Slop plenty of grease in them . Easier to remove all the linkage and install all new bushings while its out .

Mopar # 3799089 (Mopar #5211015 "should" also fit but I haven't tried these yet).

They should have a bit of grease already in them; if not, a touch of white lithium grease in the cup works well. Genuine Mopar white lithium grease # 68003883AB, of course.

I've just replaced all mine again, got about 18- months from the fix part number at N A P O. I'll seek genuine parts to keep in the tool box. I used synthetic light oil to lube the post the wiper attaches. One very free, other kinda not so free.
Please write any advice. Thank you, Patrick

Thank you all fro the information, I did what y'all said and made sure they had grease, to get rid of the air and to easy the installation of the linkage i used a lighter to heat the tip of a paper clip and made a small hole at the top of the plastic bushings.

Next Question Where Can I find a new / GOOD Used set of wiper arms and the washer fluid spray jets. my wipe arms are in need of replacement.....and the spray jets are all broken....I am having a hard time finding these parts.

well, yes I did, the size of a small paper clip 1/16 or smaller, so the air and grease could escape when putting the bushings on the linkage. those bushing have no air and plenty of grease...

There's no need for "air & grease to escape".
The bushings have an open underside, and the grease is better utilized by lubricating the linkage rather than "escaping".

The post can get VERY gummed up and should be removed and cleaned. I drilled a small home though the outer case of both of mine and after working some lube into them they both move extremely free compared to how they were. One I could barely manipulate by hand and no doubt was causing my bushing issue.

Well it works for me....if you fill the bushing full of grease and try to put it on, then there is no place for the air and and extra grease to leave.....so you may not be putting enough grease in yours, but mine is topped off and I have no air and full of grease.... BTW the 1/18 hole is on the top of the bushing....
