Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Wipers Wont Park

Wipers will not return to park on my 01 when shut off. The dealership said to put in a new wiper motor. I got an aftermarket from autozone. The wipers still will not park. Is their another part to replace?

While problems with the wiper motor and multi function switch DO affect wiper return, it seems that your problem might be detailed in this thread--

The problems that are described with the wipers in the thread you sent me are the same as I am having with my 04. 5 but I will see if they apply to my 01. Either way it was a big help. Thanks for the info.
