Frank's coax routing is the best way. On the power lead to the battery, you should have a silicon rubber hole cover on the firewall to the left of the steering column. Just punch a hole with an ice pick, run the 14 gauge power lead out to the battery. The rubber will seal back around the wire nicely. Be sure to ground the rig as close to the radio as possible. I used the transfer case shifter hole in the cab floor for my ground. No noise or RFI problems at all.
