Yep. Got 5 LED's mounted under my front bumper. What wire, and where is it, can I hook them to so that they are always on with my running lights?

Was thinking hooking them to the fogs, but then every time I put on the brights they'd go off ... .

Thanks folks

I'd just take a 12 v tester with a probe on it and find the wires going to one of the running lights... I'd tie into that circuit with the probe and than once I found the correct wire I'd tie into it... LED's won't draw any current to speak of and the current fuse in the circuit should be able to handle it... .

I did this for my truck and trailer... we made an aluminum bracket (1/8" thick, 2 1/2" wide x 72" long) with 12 or 14 LEDs for extra lighting... we tested the draw... actually less than 1. 5 amps with them all lit... . Tied them into the back of the 53er for extra lighting and another one on the back of the truck...

Hope this helps. .

I would just connect all of them together in series, then run one long wire under the hood, through the firewall and just tap into the light switch. All you have to do is pop the plastic off where you cut your lights on and open the black wire mesh. then find the orange with white stringer wire and tap into it. pics are in my sig of gauge intallation and it shows the exact wire im talkin about. ;)
