2002 Rally in south east Pa. Need thoughts

BOMB Party Success!

Well, we had nothing here at 5:30am, but now we have freezing rain. A lot of cars are in the ditch. By late morning it may get better. I'm still planning to leave around 9:00am. Got an appointment to meet up with Extreme1 in Wautoma at 10:00, then on to Tomah! #ad

There also a dyno being added to K&S Fuel Injection in Wausau, WI. Should be done by now, have to stop by them one of these days. They also have all the BD stuff one might need.

Weather wise, started snowing about 6:30 this
AM. Been watching the tube, no advisories posted. Going to check the accuweather site next!

Update: Guess I will try for it, looks promising, can always visit siblings if it gets too bad. #ad

Light sleet around 7:00 AM. Lasted a few minutes. On my way now!
See you there. Remember, it's not a race, take your time and be safe!
See Ya there!

ABORTED MISSION: Took almost an hour to get to main highway. Major road system just as icy, see ya'll another time...

Vince

Thanks to everyone who was able to get there. We had 8 trucks and 11 people. I drove through just rain all the way home. Sorry to the guys who couldn't make it. We're probably going to have a dyno day in NE Iowa maybe in April. Ray will be working on that one.

It was good to meet everyone! Already looking forward to the next one and better weather! #ad

I hope everyone got home ok. Here in Michigan I woke up to freezing rain this morning. I tried walking out to the trash can and nearly killed myself - had planned to visit my grand mother today but cancelled becuase of the road conditions.

EZ trip home - some rain, but not slippery, no troopers, no problem! It was great fun, I'll start working on a get together in NE Iowa. If you have thoughts and/or ideas, let me know.

Ray

I just wish Aron's truck wasn't so stock! #ad

One of the best parts of the day was when that 1/2 ton Ram kept cruising the parking lot to check out our trucks all lined up. I think we blew his mind.

It wasn't stock!! Didn't you see the exaust pipe tip?!? #ad

Thanks for the ride Aron! That exaust tip makes a huge difference. I'm going to look into one for my 12 valve. #ad

I'm up for dyno runs but probably not until May. Other commitments and need to upgrade the TC first (now that my running board project is done).

From the look on Paul's face when he got out of Aron's truck, I think his credit card might get a bit of a workout.

We are looking forward to the next one, GREAT JOB DAVE! Thanks for putting this together!

Easy ride home, had just rain although it was heavy at times. Look forward to our next meeting, only during nicer weather. Aron-- Thanks for the ride, wish my truck was stock like yours. It was really nice to meet you all, take care.

I made it home about 25 minutes ago, was raining hard in places. I had a good time today and racked up 380 miles. Thanks to Aron for the ride, and thanks to everyone else for the good conversation. I am looking forward to the next meeting in Iowa. See you all there.

Also a huge thanks to Fireman Dave for taking it upon himself to make this get-together happen.

Thanks for the pictures. Wish I could have made it. I hope schedules don't clash for the next get together. If it's nice enough maybe we could do a camp weekend with the dyno,we'ed have lots of tires to kick then.

(Sorry I couldn't post earlier. The FD calls kept me busy once I got home. )
I got home too with no problems at all. No ice just rain. I want to say that it was really a blast and will have to go to the one in Iowa.
Thanks goes to Dave for setting this up. I'm really glad I could make it. Also, I'm happy we could go joy riding. Although, the Trooper in the same lot was kinda dangerous. "Gee Officer, it's a diesel. It can't go that fast. " #ad
Yeah, that would work.
I will be taking orders for my 'Custom Rice-boy approved' exhaust tips soon.
I hope to see some of you again, because it was really a blast. And if the weather cooperates... Ah the possibilites are endless.
Extreme1, sometime I'll have to get with you guys to go sledding. Although, my sled is no where near as BOMBed as my truck. Honest! #ad
