I have got the idea to build a work sleigh to help out FIL/BIL. He just came over and asked to hook up the Mules to pull his truck out of the snow. YES IT'S AN OLD POS FORD. You wouldn't want him to take his 4th gen out would you ? He feeds the cattle that they raise and takes a truck out on a dirt road covered with snow to do it. I can figure out how it all goes together and how it works but cant tell about the runners. The video that accompanies this post is what I'm looking at. You guys that live in Amish country have any idea? you probably see them more than most. It looks like wood covered with steel but I cant see it for sure. If that's what it is no big deal Thanks for any help
