Hey guys, I'm looking for a bit of input between these two axle ratios with the newer G56 in the 6. 7 trucks. The truck will be an all around do-it-all truck, it will see general unloaded commutes, occasionally tow upwards of 10,000lbs, as well as some off-road driving. Are the newer engines a little more RPM happy than the old 12valves I'm used to? I know with my '95, I have the 5spd NV4500 and 3. 54 rear end, its a good combination with 33" tires on it, but I think the 4. 10s would be too steep for the highway driving portions. But, then again with these 12 valves they sound like their going to fly apart above 2000rpm. The reason I ask is I thought I was settled on only considering the 3. 73s but I came across an 08 3500SRW with the 4. 10s in it out of town and I'm not sure if I should go look at it or just look for one locally with the 3. 73s in it
