Thanks, TDR Staff

carriage plant is close

Anyone running airbags?

Could it have been loaded and simply collapsed at the site where it was photographed?

If the concrete debris weighed 32k as stated above I don't see how it could have even been moved.

Also, looks like the street-side front axle tire is missing. I also see a strap in one of the pics. Seems like SOMEBODY tried to move this thing...

Big Nasty,

You ever heard the phrase "Copy Righted? Well, I give you the right to copy it all you want!

Spread it far and wide!

But just remember, the worst form of stupidity is when you are too stupid to realize you are stupid!

That one is a freebie!Oo.

Thank you I will

.

Hey Big I feel yer pain had my left knee replaced in 97 total of 23 surgeries on it alone so far I'm sure you know you Can't Kneel down on your knee's anymore you will dislocate it realy easy trust me been down that road twice Good luck with the rebuild hope you get back to yourself quickly

I know that the one on the left knee will dislocate and I have to put on a brace that the hospital gave me so I can get on my knees/But the new one on the right is some new kind that wont have that problem Progress I guess? the surgery was allot better or maybe its that I knew what was coming so it seemed so. But im not going to let a little thing like hardware change keep me down. Well maybe for just a bit. :-laf

Oh, it was definitely pulled as far as it got. If you look close you can see where the trailer frame and the wheels are down in the ground. There were also gouges in the asphalt of the street leading to it. There was no where around that the concrete could have come from. Also, those slabs are closer to 8" thick than 6". I'd say they had straps on it and removed them when they left. They're probably the only thing of value that was left.

Because it was being pulled by a truck that had BIO DIESEL in the fuel tank and that gave it extra HP and low end torque, And it was owned by a DEMOCRATE If it were owned by a Republican it would have not been able to figure out how or what to do.

Wrong, the Republican would not of wanted to mess with it. They work smarter and not harder. They would of used their high wages to hire Democrat, offer him the entitlements he thinks he deserves like a free lunch, place to live and some free bandaids to make up his free medical plan... . The only reason a Democrat/ Liberal would be using a Bio Diesel full size truck is due to the fact they had to borrow it because their Prius could not get the job done...

Yes, I am new to this site and to the world of turbo diesels itself. I made the jump from a 07 5. 7L 1500 Hemi mega to a 11 2500 Ram CC L/B for the extra umps and pulling power.

By all means feel free to peruse through ALL my other postings to get a glimpse of the wisdom and insight I have to offer on this forum. I myself have already benefited from all the wisdom and insight from the experienced long time diesel owners/ posters on this forum. This is truly a great place for the beginner to gain some much needed knowledge on the cummins motor. If I can mix things up by adding a little humor then that is the icing on the cake and my job is done... Thanks for taking it easy on the new guy, I really do appreciate this place...

BIG HORN MAN, Welcome Aboard!

Also, check out the Towing, Hauling and RV forum. I started that one about 10 years ago and it has, down thru the years, been a great source of information for folks towing and RVing!

By my calculations, there is right around 32,000 lbs of concrete on that trailer! (6'x6'x6'=216cubic ftx150 lbs/cubic ft)

I'd say that the load is closer to 38,000 lbs.

About 8 slabs, 8' x 6' x 8" at 150 lbs per cu ft.

The trailer has about a 5,000 GVWR.

Ya know, there were probably some guys at the construction site where this was loaded up that had some good laughs and maybe some wagering... .

I can only imagine what they were saying as the idiot drove off... !!!!

Just looked at those pics again. . would LOVE to know how they got it OFF the truck... maybe pull the pin and yank the receiver out of the hitch???

This was no set-up, I assure you. I should've taken picks of the tongue. The jack was collapsed. I have no idea how they got it unhooked. Like was said earlier, probably pulled the hitch pin and pulled away from it.
