Thanks for the info about Parshall (spelling?), I should check the schedule more often. I knew Laura Ingram was on, BUT she is at the same time as Glenn Beck. I get such a hoot out of Glenn that I miss Laura - wished they would juggle the scedule a litte so I could catch both.

I do manage to catch Hannity and O'Reily via Fox if I'm still in the office at that time.

From what I know, both are very comperable. I have Serius.

I went with the Serius mainly because of the FM modulator. It's already built in to the cradle in the proffesional car kit. When I bought mine, XM had to have a completely seprate modulator plugged on to the cigg. lighter. I felt that I could make a cleaner install with this. I ended up tapping the power off of the power outlet behind the dash so that there are no wires showing. I think that Serius has a better selection of non-commercial channels. Plus I get the AVS games:D

On the subject of Satellite radio & investing, I know of at least one person buying stock in Satellite radio because Howard Stern may be making the transition. Content aside, might just be an opportunity.

Does one service have more talk radio than the other?

Forrest-

Not sure about XM, but Serius has plenty of that. I'm not much of a talk show person, but there is the news channels, weather, NPR, E!, left talk, right, Comedy, and so on. XM has more "name brand" channels it seems.

A friend has XM and gets the Playboy channel; but it didn't quite live up to the hype.

Go the respective websites and they list all their channels. On the Serius page you can actually listen for up to 2 minutes(?) on a channel.

Forrest,

I'd suggest visiting the respective websites and perousing the talk shows offered. More talk shows may not be "better" talk shows.

This is what I did because I tend toward being a talk show addict. Since I do not own a TV the radio is my constant companion.

go with the delphi xm radio. Works on any radio just tune to 87. 9 fm on your radio. Has perfrect sound. The reason i bought the delphi is you can pull it out of its holder and put it in the house or a boat or rv. All you have to do is get the 60 dollar home kit. This way you can get all your 10 bucks worth
