I had the trans fluid/filter changed at the dealer 2 weeks ago. I noticed last week that at 2200 rpm & 80 mph, when I pushed on the go-pedal the engine would rev up about 250 more rpm and then the truck would begin to increase in speed. Additionally, just driving along with the cruise control on, again at the 2200 rpm, the engine would increase in revs 125 to 250 rpm.
I took it back to the dealer and they told me they plugged their diagnostic computer into it and didn't see where it was slipping, and suggested it may be the "normal" tc lock/unlock. They also test drove it and couldn't feel any slipping.
All of you trans experts/gurus out there: What's going on? What can/should I do or expect.
