PS, you guys still have chain gangs and hangins' down there don't ya? Gulp

Maybe it's in Kentucky. Two reasons: We got the fastest racehorses :D and most ridiculous levels of traffic law enforcement. I wouldn't wish something that stupid on the great Republic of Texas. :D

Gotta be Tennessee. Used to work with a guy from there, and he said they have the craziest assortment of speed traps around.

They had cops with radar guns on farm tractors, old farm trucks, sitting on haystacks beside the road, and in one case, he noticed an empty fruit stand with a couple holes cut in the wall, and poking through were a radar device and camera!

It was even observed to have some guys in overalls out in a truck garden. They would watch the traffic, and when someone came along looking fast, they'd pick up a radar gun point it, and radio ahead to where the cop car was hidden behind a haystack.

I think the horse for height considerations... Better radar signals :)

It looks like it was taken right outside of Corpus Christy, Tx. Somewhere around the coast of south Tx. for sure. Notice the service road and shell in the median. I would say Corpus or Galveston.

I bet somebody's gonna grab a rope....

Corpus or Galveston????

Since this P. O. S. computer doesn't have "smell tech" capability, it's hard for me to tell (that, and the 10+ years since been there :( )

CC smells like refineries, no matter which way the wind blows, and Galveston smells like a polluted area where fish died.

Personally, I prefer CC.

When I worked mounted partol in Dallas, there was a McDonalds right next to the Appartment compled I patrolled. A few times I rode the horse to the drive through window. I ordered at the speaker and everything. I miss that horse... :(
