Where's Waldo? --Waldo the one-eyed Cougar

Look at the first Holiday Burn Barrel picture> In the top portion of the fireball, you can pick out the nose of a Cougar. His eye is on the left ,and the ear is on the right. The head is really in proportion to a Cougar

wish I had pics

At our last Memorial bonfire, I thought I'd get rid of some really old gasoline. It was in an old gallon oil jug, about 1/3 full. As the fire (aged brush pile) was lit I tossed the jug up on top. It was uncapped to avoid explosion with all the people around (safety first!! :-laf ). Forgetting that gas fumes are heavier than air, I was pleasantly suprised with the nearly immediately ensuing beautiful cascade of fire.

Would have been nice to be a foot or two farther away, though... ...

Back in the 80's their was a group of us in our early 20's ,one of the guys owed a foriegn car repair place and he would bring a VW block out(the old Magnesium ones) , I owned a cabinetshop and would bring all the wood out to the desert. When that thing got going it was amazing the amout of light that came off of it. That's about as crazy as it got for me

Magnesium is awsome!!! Cold-cut some up sometime so it burns REAL good! Powdered Mag. is one of the most impressive materials I've lit. Oo. Oo.
