What do you have for an Exhaust?. I am not talking brand, just the type:

1. Stock

2. Stock, but no muffler

3. 4"

4. 4" but no muffler

5. 5"

6. Other? (Stacks, duals, etc)

Just want to have an idea

I just installed my 4" Jardine last tuesday. It is quieter than my old system at idle but it comes alive at full throttle. :D :D

Right now I have the stock 3" with no muff, but I have a set of 4" chrome stacks coming :D. I'm going to custom build my entire system with polished aluminized 4" pipe. I'm going to try to get pictures up when I get it installed.

Any ideas on where the best place is to get a 4" downpipe? I've heard DD has problems.

I have the same as Rob, except I removed the chrome turn down and added the straight 5" tip from Geno's, even better sound now.

Kodiak it a Vortec made by Cherry Bomb. Its 3 inch straight through and sounds very good. A whole hell of a lot cheaper than the 4 inchers and I think it sounds better. Now that does NOT mean that I'm knocking the 4 inchers, they sound good too. Just ask John_P he likes it so much he is trying to see if the company will make him one in 4 inch... ... ..... Pete

BigSaint... I thought about changing the tip, but didn't due to worries of soot on my horse trailer. Is that a problem for you at all? I think other tips look better, just not sure I want to scrub the trailer any more often!

On the other hand, being turned down kicks up a lot of dust and messes things up anyway.

To solve the problem of soot on the trialer, just estend the end of the tip out even with the edge of your tire. This will help to direct the exhaust away from the trailer. Or you can use the "leaf blower" style exhaust tip, and have it stir up dust. Apples and oranges, I guess...

Evan... you are giving out a lot of advice on trailers and towing... why don't you leave that to the guys that actually do some of it.

I know of several guys that have the Jardine 4 inch exhaust on their rams. As I stand by the road and listen to them go by, it sounds like one of the best.

Say Evan hows it goin ? yes my dual 4'' stacks are up and running and they are too awesome, you would not believe the looks I get, I don't know if they all think i'm nuts or if they like what they see,the rig also has a real custom utility bed, all my buddies call it orka it is driftwood and so is the back end,oh to answer your pole I cut out all the original exhaust, welded the resinator back on to the down pipe since they were both 3'' and the res is 4'' at the other end I welded on a 4x4x4 wye and two 2' s/s flex's clamped on and up both sides to conform to angle of body as well as my stahl service body, this week the heat shields will go on then all comes apart again to get powder coated, can't wait, also i'll have pics all over this web-site. silencer ring has gone by-by and you can hear turbo spool up and down talk about music it is as good as a bose radio lololo just kidding it sounds much better, good luck to all,
