Installed the Genos Relocation kit today with a Holley Blue pump. Very easy install ran into no problems at all. Im only seeing 10psi at idle and around 7. 5psi at WOT with comp on 5X5. Why such low pressure at idle?

I had 2 holleys in a row with the same preess. your seeing. They also started dropping pressure after long trips:rolleyes: I got tired off that crap and got my A1000 and set reg. @18psi Now its rock solid! The walbro is also a good chioce. the inline pumps have fuel cooled and lubricated elec. motors.

I never had a problem with a Holley pump dropping pressure. You gotta install a relay & use the stock lp red wire to trigger the relay on/off... . then the hot wire to the battery powers the holley pump. The holley pump takes a different current draw to operate than a stock lp..... it must only use the stock lp power wire as a on/off trigger. Did you use a relay?

What is an A1000?

Look in summit, in the fuel pump section. Its the round inline model. Aeromotive is the brand. I bench tested it before i installed to see if it would pump veg. oil. (the holley will not attempt to do that). The A1000 pumps anything, even motor oil, and still build way more pressure then we need. You need to run a regulator. Last summer i ran 75% veg oil, and i still mix it in when I get nice oil. Not much anymore. It will supply enough fuel for SERIOUS HORSEPOWER!

Thank you. Where did you mount it?

I had a issue with my Holley Blue losing pressure on long trips and it was the inline filter i used... . it was way to restrictive. At idle I get around 17psi and mashing the skinny pedal with juice on at 5x5 I get no less then 10psi...

Rick

I have checked my pressure several times and all I am getting at Idle is 10psi. I did not install the regulator. I only used the Relocation Kit I did not get the Big Line Kit. I have around 8,000 miles on my fuel filter. Maybe I need to change my filter and then recheck my fuel pressure.

#@$%!
