Looking for some input on a good pulling tire to use this year. I have heard some say use the trxus m/t's while others say use the trxus sts's. Any input??

Avoid mud terrains, they work good on about 1% of the tracks you will see.
BFG ATs were a good pulling tire about 20 years ago.
The Truxes have their place, but the MT Baja MTX have to be the most track versatile tire around. Don't get greedy and buy too big of tire..... I won alot of pulls with 285s. And saved a lot of parts.
If Tomac ever hooked up with MTXs, there would be busted Bowtie all over the track.
Yea, and Brad Ingram ran a mud terrain this weekend and where did he end up?
Ive also seen Coppess get his only DHRA win last year with Truxes.

Maybe those guys would do even better if they took old Sleddys advice on tires.
I can only lead the horses to water, its up to them to drink it. :-laf
A lot of guys don't like them, because it turns out they dont have the power they thought they had!!
I always wanted to try like a 22" tire on the back, short stiff sidewall, and a soft squishy 15 or 16" on the front. Never had the funds just to try it though.
Make sure you have the same circumference, if you try it.
Remember, its all in the sipes!!
Who took you sipe hunting?
