HELP!!! Need gooseneck lock for Belshe trailer

I bought a lock for a Belshe gooseneck but it just barely fits. The pin doesn't and across the nut like it should and the whole lock is loose. The lock is too long. Does anyone know what lock will fit a Belshe trailer?

I've sold many belshe trailers but by your description I don't understand what your looking for or exactly what the problems are.

Gooseneck Coupler Lock, TL50



The problem I'm having is that the whole mechanism is too long. As you see in the pictures, the hooks are tight with the coupler and the pin sits on top of the nut in the back. On my Belshe, the pin sits too far back (not sitting on top of the nut) when the hooks are tight against the coupler. The whole lock assembly just dangles loosely. I'm afraid a good smack with a sledge would knock it off.
