157,000 miles

1 - lift pump (@ 140,000... . found after a fuel filter change , no start)

1 - cam position sensor

58500 miles.

On my 3rd lift pump. Just did the 3rd one with a smaller big line kit/relocation, since it was on it's way out. Buddy came over to help, went real quick.

1 track bar replaced. (SS Gen3 adpater and Gen3 style TB for Gen2 trucks)

(did it a few weeks ago)

2 rear seals on TC replaced (within the 1st 10K miles, under warranty).

1 rear yoke replaced with the 2nd TC rear seal, as so not to eat a 3rd rear seal.

3 sets of front brakes, 1 set of rears replaced.

Same rotors and drums still.

1 set of hawks basically lost small chunks of material from the middle of the pads... so half way through their life, they were replaced.

1 rear brake cylinder leaking so did them both at the same time.

VP44 replaced by previous owner. 5th gear nut fix and transmission overhaul recently. Front end wander... BAD! 200K miles

Miles on 24V

RHeron who did you get warranty to pay for a new VP44??? I ran on the vp44 for about 10 months the 130 rwhp was pathetic the diesel tech said that was about right for all his lack of worth of info. Being beaten out of interesctions by loaded welding trucks ! I am on vp44 # 3 now all at my expence!!! Oh well you can't expect much from cryslerrr!

update-about 237,000 now-2001 all stock cab n chassis dual stacks work truck. 1 lp, few oil leaks, apps issues now, dealer or diesel shop can't figger what problem is

After all you people said you would think we hate our trucks and they are money pits. Well I got around 163000 most of that with a edge drag comp and using it. My gauge cluster went out once, many lift pumps replaced with fass pump:D I resealed my vacuum pump. I also had to replace my fuel sending unit. I have replace some other parts but those are my fault I like the skiny pedal. I love the truck it has run great every day. Have yet to put a VP44 in it. I replaced the clutch at around 150,000 my fault! The truck is showing the age but still love it.

232 k on my 99. "53" block split open before 200k. a couple broken trannies. . Don't know about lift pump as I've been running an Air Dog for years. Hooked up big injectors and Edge comp the same night and the VP died 5 seconds after lightin' 'er up on test run... Scary!! what did I do????

25,500k as of today on mine, just took it out to take some updated pics of the winter work i'v been picking at for the last few month. Sure is nice to drive it. DW

I can't beleive that 01.5 w/ 25k got posted

A 2001. 5 WITH 25,000 MILES! That's only 3500 miles per year. Might as well be a show truck. I thought the average mileage per year (in US) was >10,000+ miles.

I should update. My truck is at 265,000+ today. Cleaned the screen on the power steering pump. Just noticed that truck was canadian. I like the folks in Alberta, been there and going again.

I'm at 120,800 as of this morning. Decided to leave the truck as is, until we get debt-free. I finally got the wife to get on-board the Dave Ramsey train, so we'll be good to go in about a year... ... then I can play with the mods :D

I have 230k on mine and my wife won't let me do anything else to it thanks to Mr. Ramsey. We only have to get her truck paid off, then we're done but we'd like to actually buy a house soon instead of rent.

Kinda is(hobbie),only drive it when needed to pull stuff to our place at the lake, brolaw has a 03 3500 with 24,000k. We both drive beaters to and from work and run-abouts(91Acura),sure does beat paying over $4. 00 a gallon for diesel when the ricers get 30-40MPG highway/city and gas is cheaper. PS---The 6 speed is a pig to drive during rush hour, prefer the auto in the car,but get me out on the highway and i'll take the truck/6er any day----drop it in 6th and usually don't have to gear down until my turn to the lake two hours later---depending on traffic.

200230 Miles On '99

JUST GOT OVER 200230 MILES ON MY '99 DODGE CUMMINS. BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW IN '99 WITH 8 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. HAD TO GET A NEW FRONT SHOCK WHEN NEW. WENT TO FASS PUMP ABOUT A YEAR AGO. HAVE SUPERCHIPS TUNER, BANKS EXHAUST BRAKE, BANKS BIG HEAD WASTEGATE, AFE COLD AIR INTAKE AND TUBE, TWO INCH LEVELING KIT ON FRONT, STRIAGHT PIPE EXHAUST FROM TURBO BACK. HAD TO CHANGE A COUPLE OF SENSORS AND OIL PRESSURE SENDER . THATS ABOUT IT SO FAR. IT'S MY DAILY DRIVER. DRIVE ABOUT 75 MILES A DAY TO AND FROM WORK. IT'S BEEN AN EXCELENT TRUCK FOR ME AND STILL PULLS MY 29 FOOT TOYHUALER WITHOUT A PROBLEM. :):-laf
