1. VP44 injection pump, put on a FASS on the same time.

2. water pump, (didn't really need it)

3. exhaust manifold,

4. a couple of thermostats.

5. Two torque convertors before I put a B&D upgrade package in it.

6. Normal things like shocks, brakes, tires, etc. (Brakes have been a big problem)

7. U-joints. Rear-end seal leaking and needs replaced.

122,000

one lift pump (in tank installed under warranty)

one VP 44 under warranty when lift pump replaced

constant AC problems that no one seems able to repair.

other than that great truck and would by another of the same vintage.

Installed attitude/juice combo at 156k to find out 0 psi from lp to vp. The vp started to go about 2 months later with starting issues (wouldnt start, or start and die). I replaced stock lp with fass 95 and a rebuilt s. o. vp and have been rollin and smokin since. I will say that I did have an issue with my fass pump... the first one the shop installed took a *$!# on me and I had to have it towed in at my expense. They told me the first one was bad and installed a new one at no charge which is still working fine and havent had a problem with ... yet ... besides the constand "whirring" sound it makes. Good pump just a little noisy.

303k

1 VP44 267K

1 set rotors

1 set rear brake shoes

1 set front pads every 15K

1 track bar, 3rd gen conversion

1 4in exhaust

1 set starter contacts

1 AFE stage 2 air intake

1 FASS 95gph fuel pump

1 Trans rebuild with transgo shift kit 220K ago

1 receiver hitch (replaced with 12k rated hitch)

1 wheel brg assembly

1 set intercooler boots

2 thermostats

2 sets of front driveshaft u joints

2 steering boxes (still herds down the road)

3 sets of batteries

4 Alternators

7-8 sets of tires

Many other small items, too many to list

Items that need attention soon:

Fuel tank sender is slowly failing

Door bottoms rusted out

Drivers seat is worn out

Hope to get another 300K+

Thanks

Matt

There is a fix for the noisy FASS pump, but you have to take it to your FASS dealer to have them send it in and get it up dated.

2 FASS 150's.

Complete front steering and ball joints.

Front hubs.

Rear u-joints.

Sending unit is bad.

Planning on free spin kit come summer. Should be about time for more hub work by then.

93,535, bought it with 92,xxx in November 2008

So far:

Fuel gauge sending unit

Box side (stupid neighbor, his insurance)

Replaced intank lift pump with raptor 150 last week, installed fuel module out of a 04 into tank so that gauge worked right and I could install the raptor correctly.

I just bought a 2000 cab/chassis with 360,000. motor starts and runs like new & good oil pressure maybe it's almost broke in. :-laf

After three lift pumps I mounted one on the frame and stopped the problem for about30000 miles. Iadded a fuel press gauge. I noticed a drop in fuel press. The pump on the engine had failed. Added a Airtex lift pump on the eng. and kept the assist pump on the frame. Now have 21 psi working with no load. In the time Ireplaced the lift pumps I had a Inj. pump failure. Replaced the origanal and that one failed at 31000 miles and two years usage. The last two years have had no major problems. Like my truck but why do we have to put up with such sorry engineering???

98. 5 204,000 1 vp, 3 lp, vaccum pump, turbo, trans, transfer case, torque converter, darg link, and front right short shaft.
