We like your pictures. Could you tell us about your camera? Our pictures are always to dark or to light. What make and year front axle are you going to use? Nice project.

Just an old Olympus D-340R at only 1. 3 magapixles :{ that I use exclusively in the garage. I think this camera is like 8 or 9 years old. I manually select the flash regardless of the lighting.

For the front axle I'm looking for a 78-79 Ford Dana 60 high pinion... . this has been tuff to find in my area. They go quick!!!

;)

Hey Nice Looking rig, My girlfriends sister lives about a block down from you, ive seen you tearing the truck down in your driveway and when i drove by today and saw the cummins sitting next to it i figured youd be on here. Good luck on the project, next time i see you workin on it i might stop by to see it first hand if you dont mind...

Thought about many different ways to skin this cat, but decided that I didn't want bolts sticking through the frame... . so here's the pics. Somehow I had taken more pics during fabrication of all this, but they didn't write to my card... Hmmmmm.

:D

These springs have turned out to have a pretty stiff feel... . we will have to see how they ride though. I'm thinking that I'll either end up with some National Springs or just do a coil 5 link set up.

Continuing on with the work... springs are mounted. At this point in the build I was still searching for a high pinion D60 for the front. Those damn things are hard to come by.....

While waiting for D60 parts to show up... I sold my old axles as a pair, so time to get that old D60 out of the truck and prepair the D80 to go under. I will be changing the rear springs to 3" wide later down the road... .

Dana 60... .
