tim- try driving up a slight incline and start on pl01 and go up through the #s to 10 if you get to 3 or 4 and dont feel any increase then your "tap" isnt working. quite a few people have had this problem, the wire tap for this box is VERY sensitive and MUST be a solid connection.
 
I re-did the wire tap last week.
New tap from Radio Shack - looks just like the one that came with the quad, but has double crimpers, and I made sure one was right on top of the already exposed wire. .

End of May I'll be making a trip to Colorado with the truck.
 
Run the new update today and this thing is wicked. It fuels hard!!! It keeps getting better with each new update. It has the low end "grunt" a diesel should have and then keeps pulling to 3500. Cant bring myself to stay in it on stock internals.



Big thanks to Quad, his staff, beta testers, and anybody else who had a hand in this module.
 
Not so patiently waiting for my new adrenaline w/ pulse!Oo. I know those guys are working hard to get it right. Sounds like they're getting pretty close. My truck is no fun to drive anymore without a box for it. Waaaaaaaayyyy to slow. :{

Well worth the wait, trust me.
 
I'm looking on the bright side. At least I'm not out burning up diesel that cost me $4. 15. So it's saving me lots of money right now. :-laf

I'm sure it'll be worth it, but like anything else, the faster the better. :)

The fuel isn't the only thing to worry about. I've got a list of broken parts that exceed my fuel costs. Like shattered 3rd gear in the transmission, busted my intercooler, burned up a set of BFG all terrains. I don't run my truck hard most of the time, things just break.
 
Well I think I took care of my transmission problems, and my stock turbo won't handle the boost it took to blow your intercooler. I've been following the thread over on DTR, watching and waiting for any new information. Hopefully I can keep my foot out of it enough to not blow up my turbo, I don't really want to have to buy one of those in the near future.
 
Sounds like the Adrenalin w/pulse will be nice. Will it put too much stress on a stock fuel pump/system? I've been waiting for a power system that I can add to a bone stock truck without having to add a ton of other stuff.
 
A fuel system upgrade is a must for any vp equipped truck regardless of a box or just stock, if you get an adrenaline you will need to upgrade lift pump system. DD
 
quad on pl7 with smarty on6 is the difference of12. 6 to12. 2 goodbye comp drag box. #2 only. 3500 dodge 2002 aftershock. nos next week.
 
can't wait to get my hands on one, got a guy with a 01 5speed with 150hp injectors, SO injection pump, gdp lift pump, smarty and puck. We wanted to make sure there was enough fuel first before the adrenaline gets on there. But now we gotta put a clutch on to handle the power.

I got my Adrenaline with Pulse this evening good old UPS. In checking the parts there was no fuel sending unit. I will have to wait tell Monday to call on this but I noted some have been having fuel sender problems? Is this how they fix it by not including the sending unit and leave use dangling in the wind? The did not include instruction for using the pulse but I see there are some on their web site. Kind of unprofessional to not include what if you don't have a computer I know I know you need a computer for here and to down load programs. I also asked the Adrenaline be preprogrammed with the program I wanted to save me some time and hassle how do you know what program is in the unit? Finally is there any secrets to installing this before I start. Thanks everybody cannot wait to get this thing installed and working. Oh one other thing I thought for some reason boost was included is it somehow? if so how is it monitored or do I need to keep my Autometer boost gauge installed?
 
I know they were having problems getting the fuel sending unit from a supplier so they decided to ship them without it, Don't think they are gonna send one out either.
