There should be a card for the sender in the box. Also boost is monitered via the MAP connection. I complained about instructions (or lack there of), too!:) As far as I know you can check the program @ Quads site. Install is straight forward and fairly simple but bear in mind that the VP tap wire is kind of short so judge mounting by that. I put mine on top of the underhood fuse box. ;)

I found no card in the box but will look again before calling.

Mine showed up this morning! Finally! Oo. Is it 5pm yet? I don't want to work, I just want to work on my truck!:-laf Anybody have any guesstimates as to how long it takes to hook everything up? Just trying to prepare for a late night if that's what it's going to take. There's no way I'm going to bed tonight without finding out how well this thing will work. Oo. Oo.

I was suppose to get mine friday but they forgot to ship it so hopefully it will be here today, souldn't be too hard, just a couple of connectors, the only hard part is drilling for the egt probe.

I've got an HTT Ex. manifold with 2 EGT ports so that shouldn't be a problem, I'm just thinking it will take a while to run all the wiring and get everything hooked up right.

quad fuel sending unit

just to clarify with the quad you need to have a fuel source line for fuel pressure reading simular to what I already have for my gauge. just now i need is line, fuel isolator and fittings. is this it. I already have my mechanicl fuel pressure gauge taken from between my Inje-pump and filter. where or what spot are you tapping into for the one needed for quad.

Got mine installed today and it took about 3 hours but I am pretty anal about installing everything. It probably took me longer to tap the pump wire than most everything else. I talked to quad and they said the fuel sender will be available in June and I can order and buy it then. In the mean time my Automoter electric fuel pressure will do just fine. Mine was easier since I already had a place for the exhaust probe and when I have the fuel sender be easy to add also. I use braided line with snubber and sender mounted on the fire wall now so will put the new one in place of the old one.

I need to call Quad again tomorrow as the enter button on the pulse does not work very well, kind of hit and miss. See if I can get them to send a new one to replace this one. The other thing my Data plug was not where Quad described. Mine was above the starter behind the fuel filter on a bracket. Took a little while to figure that out.

How do you make sure the fuel pump T tap is good. Maybe my expectations are to high as my only real performance upgrade is RV275 injectors I cannot feel in my butt that much difference between level 2 or 10 unloaded have not towed yet with it. Then I am not running aggressive program as I tow weighing in at 21,000# and really looking to help towing without breaking anything. I am thinking level 3 would be the most I want to to with. You guys that tow agree?

I guess my question should have been were are you out there putting the additional fuel sender at if you want to keep a mechanical fuel pressure gauge like i already have. its tapped into a t-fitting. can I just put 2 t-fittings between the inj-pump and filter for the needed quad one.

Im gonna put the quad sensor before the filter since I already have one post filter. and then Im gonna put the egt probe post turbo since I have a pre turbo gauge

swap EGT guages then as the quad has a defueling ability that wont be effective post turbo. ;)

Does the Quad *need* a fp gauge to work correctly - i. e. does it limit power if the Quad monitor is reading zero?

I have a nice mechanical fp gauge and do not have the quad fp wire connected to anything.

No, but the PULSE can use the input to defuel if loss of pressure. :)

Ah. I don't have a Pulse yet.
I'm holding off until I see the Quad working right.
I still don't see any power increase that the pump tap should have given me.
I have an RA number, but haven't had time to ship it back yet. Hopefully I'll git-r-done today!

The pump taps are tricky and the Adrenaline is very finicky about it. It MUST be a solid connection! Then the stupid grinning starts!
