Just goes to show that people that don't have to desire or time to properly train and care for a pet should not take on the burden in the first place. Unfortanately this is an all too common occurance. No doubt the dog is in a better place where hopefully he/she will get the care and attention he/she deserves, assuming he didn't just take it to a shelter or worse yet take it "out to pasture".

Insert spouse for pet/dog!Oo.

Rashwor, I understand FULLY. Almost 4 years ago I got a Aussie mix pup and from about 6mos til the month she turned 2 yrs old she ate my daughters trampoline (twice) unscrewed all the sprinkler heads in the back yard and ate them (without digging up the yard, didn't know sprinklers were gone til I turned them on in spring) chewed battery cable on my jeep chewed ext cord used to plug in my truck on cold nights, OH YEAH this dog eats rose bushes / tree thorns and all and never bleeds, and the list goes on.

I have always kept all my dogs for their full life, but this one was pushing her luck. Then I found a web site about ACD (Austailian Cattle Dogs) and I learned a ton plus I lost 60 lbs. I learned that ACD's need 5 to 8 miles of exercise a DAY and so I started riding my bike with her 5-10 miles a night and it worked out well for both of us, and if the weather is bad she will talk to me til I let her run on the treadmill for a while. ACD's are VERY smart, they are considered self thinkers unlike other dogs.

Bring her to me, I will take her

If there some way to get her up to me I will take her and take good care of her. I am in Pennsylvania. I would take her to Obedience school and make her a super dog.

We just adopted a dog from TN last Sat. He was shipped up here along with many other adoptees on a commercial pet transport from www.petsllc.org. They move rescued pets from the South to the Northeast on a well prepared and modified horse trailer pulled by a CTD. It's heated and air conditioned and certified by the USDA. I'm not sure if they have any pick up points near this dog, but they do have a drop off in PA. Perhaps you could contact them.
