for the first time since i have had my CTD, diesel is cheaper then regular! Fuel is 1. 99 a gallon here in pullman WA. Regular unleaded is 2. 09... wow

Yea I guess we have to count our blessings. My last fill up (don't drive my diesel that much) was over $500 here in S. California. This time believe it or not both tanks 125 gals. $275. 00. Won't hold my breath with aaaha ahha oha ahah in the white house. I'm telling my age when I use to fill up with RG 14. 9gal. and diesel no one cared it was so cheap we can't remember. I stopped at a fuel center in a small town and two guys were filling up with off-road diesel $1. 82 gal. no tax, I guess they get away with it in California, in Missouir's boot heel where my farm is you won't get away with it.

Same price here. And I probably could get away with off road diesel ( if I could find, only place that sells it I know if is a membership place) but I wouldn't.

$1. 94/9 on credit today in SC, bought 28. 567 Gal #2, got 563 miles on it at 19. 7MPG. Might have been one or two WOT blasts in there somewhere, oops, it was fun.

Yeah, but regular is really high priced on the Palouse... Diesel can be had for 2. 009 and regular is 1. 689 here in Boise.

$1. 86 in Fort Collins, CO yesterday (3/12). Got it at the same station 2 weeks ago for $1. 60. Station jumps around more than a Democrat signing a Spending Bill... Scott

$1. 78/9 at the Flying J, in Phoenix, AZ. 3-15-09.

I read an article that said that due to the downturn in the worlds economy, areas like India & China are not doing nearly as much construction, that requires a lot of diesel fuel, so there is a glut on the market. Consequently, the lower prices. This situation is predicted to last throughout 2009. Then, pricing will start to rise, again. '09 will be a good year to take a long trip!!!

Recently, I heard that the Obama administration wants to implement a $1. 27/gallon increase in fuel taxes. That's on top of what we are paying right now. The less attractive they can make carbon-emmiting fuels, the more attractive alternative fueled vehicles will become. I'm just wondering how I'm going to pull my 25', 7000+lb. travel trailer with a Toyota Prius or a Honda Civic Hybrid or Chevy Volt?

Personally, I'm just going to enjoy the lower fuel prices, NOW, and not expect this to last. Sure wish I could do my Alaska RV trip, this summer!!!
