I install a TAG ( Turbo Air Guide) and removed the muffler on my 02 3500 a couple of weeks ago. I can see better acceleration and lower EGTs a few degrees. I used the muffler eliminator from Geno's & the 1st generation TAG. John Holmes talked #@$%!about both of them at May Madeness they work. Oo. Harry

So did you dyno and run the 1/4 mile? Because the seat of the pants o meter is not very accurate! Makes more noise, so it must be faster!

I don't know about the TAG, but the muffler eliminator on my truck made definite, measurable improvements in EGT. My empty, highway cruise EGTs dropped 50 degrees and when towing my brother's 24' boat (8 or 9000 lbs) it dropped 200 degrees.

Interestingly it also seemed to lose a little bottom end power, but that's with the seat-o-the-pants meter.

TAG is short for "Turbo Air Guide" or something like that. It claims to straighten out the airflow going into your turbo's compressor, and the lessened turbulence is supposed to result in more power and efficiency.
