Thought you guys would like this...

We are a not a Dodge dealer, but we did sell the Sterling Bullet when they were around. We do a lot of plow equipment installs where I work (We are a Freightliner/Western Star Dealer) , so we have a pretty good rep when it comes to people wanting plow equipment. I'll post some more pics when its done and BTW, yes, that is a wing :D

It has a G56 6-speed. It has a Deweze Hydraulic pump setup mounted on the engine with an electric clutch. Its uses a longer Serpentine belt with the factory automatic tensioner. The Pump is mounted above the CP3 pump on a bracket where the APPS would go on a 2nd gen truck, It is really one of the cleanest engine mounted pump setups I have ever seen, the quality is top notch.

The Plow frame and blade is by Everest, A Canadian company that builds excellent equipment, Its the same company that makes all the plow frames and blades that we put on the Western Star and Freightliner M2112 Trucks.

Can you post some picture of the pump mount? I'm looking at building a similar sounding mount for a York air pump for my 2011.

Kevin

Sure, are you using a york AC compressor? The Hydraulic pump is smaller and is positioned under the intake horn that has the egr valve and intake throttle valve. A york would be a tight fit. Will get pics at work and post them tonight.

Awesome. . I love th enew 4th gens a especially the Chassis cabs. I want to go with the dewze setup too. . more pictures please.

You may want to add this the the 4500-5500 forum

Yes I'm looking at a York 209 (with rear connectors) which is the smaller size unit. I've made up a cardboard mockup and yes it is tight but I think I might be able to fit it in.

Kevin

As you guys know, space is tight in there, It was really hard to get pics, they're not the greatest. This setup does have an extra idler installed between the fan drive and clutch pump.

Awesome rig! Any idea what kind of weight the front axle will have in the up position? Especially the right front. It looks a little big for that truck. What is going on the rear? Dump box?

Nick

Last I knew it was getting a side dump box with spinners in front of each drive tire. There is a lot weight on the front axle, but this setup is on a lot of F-550's with no problems, so I don't see the dodge having any problems with it.

Hey, I recognize you from a certain other diesel ram forum. Welcome to TDR and I look forward to reading more of your posts here with the knowledge you have working on these things.
