Ive been a magazine reader since issue #1! My dad was a subscriber when it first started and he bought a new truck and the dealer paid his first years subscription. I bought my first new Cummins in 97 and again in 99 and again in 2000. I still own my 2000 that started me down the road to more power. I opened my Cummins only shop in 2004 and went full time in Jan 06 when my wife was killed and I was left to raise infant twins and a stepdaughter. Many of you helped get me through those tough times!!! Thank you very much!!! Nowadays I dont spend alot of time here at the site but I still read the magazines over and over when I have time. I try to spend a good bit of money with our founders over at Genos each year and I still get stumped from time to time and find myself searching the forums here for answers.

Thank you to the people who make this site keep going!

I got suckered in about 8 years ago when I was renting warehouse space next to Geno's Garage for my HVAC business. At the time I was driving my '01 HO cab and chassis, when Robert Patton flagged me down because he had no heat at his home. When finishing up the repair he asked me what mod's I had made to my truck. (None) Before I could get away he gave me several back issues of TDR and a Geno's catalog. :-laf

My wife still curses that service call, although I see it differently. I have gained so much valuable info from the magazine and forum that there isn't much that I wouldn't attempt myself.

Not a regular by any means but I too had a couple interesting wee morning hour conversations in the chat room.....

Hi all, sorry didn't see this sooner- been distracted- rough winter.

I knew about the TDR when it started, I remember grabbing a flyer at a dealership when the 2nd gens were out (someday, Im gonna get one). I joined when I got my '92 in '97. I got online soon after that. Been a great journey!

Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Patton for starting something great. Thanks to the TDR online community for making it a great place!

Regards

My join date shows as 03-26-2000, sounds about right, I know I was a member prior to buying my 2001 in the fall of 2000, be 11 years in a couple of weeks.

The best part is all of the friends I have made over the years, even got to hang out with the Connecticut gang once as well as the Oregon, Washington Idaho and California guys.

August 2000, Just bought my second TD but this is my third ram. 250 k on an 87 with a 318 auto. 180 k on a 97 TD. And so far 300 mi. on my 07 5. 9 GR-56. Great trucks one and all.

Joined immediately after buying my new '99 in August '99. If I recall correctly, I think in those days TDR had official sanction from Dodge/Cummins because I think there was a flyer in the glove box with the owner's manual??? Could be wrong, but glad I joined. TDR magazine and web site have been extremely helpful and enjoyable. And heck, my truck gets used so little, it still seems new every time I drive it.

I am still here but need to renew my membership! Went to our first may madness when it was still in Reno. joined in 1999 My first issue was #23

I am here and still driving my 97 I bought new. But it's had a few changes here and there and it smokes alot more for some reason.
