Can some one please send me or post the assembly drawing or a link to one for the 2003 fan and shroud. I have (had) electrics and am going back to factory stock and need to see how it all goes together. 2003 is different then all the rest from what I understand- shroud attaches to radiator not motor.

is that hub a 36mm ? looking at it I assume there is a special (super thin) tool/wrench ?
Do I use any form of thread locker on the threads before I install it ?
do I crank it as tight as humanly possible ?

Yes, it does take a 36-mm fan hub wrench, Snap-On SP346. I think Geno's sell them too.

From the Factory Service Manual:

Tighten the fan blade to viscous fan drive mounting bolts to 17 ft. lbs. torque.

Tighten the fan hub mounting nut to 24 ft. lbs. torque. It's right hand threads.

Nothing is mentioned about using LocTite or thread locker.

When I installed a Horton electric fan clutch on my 1st gen truck back in the early '90s, I used a hammer and a punch on the flats on the nut to tighten it. I worked for 70+K miles. I'm not saying for you to use that method, but it worked for me.

Can anyone tell me where the wires out of the fan clutch mount ? They must clip to something to keep them out of harms way ?

IIRC, there is a clip that attaches to a fin on the radiator. It's been a long time since I have been under there messing with mine. :)
